Doctors practising in India, and undergraduate and postgraduate medical students enrolled at an Indian college. Members must be 18 or over. Docintosh is a members-only network, not a public forum, and it is not open to people outside the profession.

Doctors give their Medical Registration Number when they join, and we check it against the relevant council register. Students register with their college and course details. That check is the reason the network is worth being part of: everyone answering beside you has been through it too.

Yes. Students join through the same sign-up and then see a different set of things to do Thinking Thursday, contests and educational content. The honorarium activities described below are for practising doctors.

A short piece of professional work you complete on the platform: a survey, a poll, a case study, patient profile testing, a content review, a quiz, or coaching peers. Most take two to three minutes, which is the point are built to fit between patients rather than to need an evening. You receive an honorarium, a payment for your professional time.

No. Every invitation is optional, and passing on one does not change what you are offered next. Activities are matched to what you actually practise, so the work in front of you should be work you can answer properly and if it is not, leaving it is the right call.

An honorarium reflects the professional time an activity takes. It is never tied to a clinical opinion, a product, or any decision you make in practice, and there is nothing you can say in an activity that changes what you receive for it. Amounts and payment details are part of your account rather than of this website, so you will see them once you sign in.

No. Responses are anonymised and reported together with everyone else's. Your name is never attached to what you submit, and nobody commissioning the work sees who answered. Where a case is involved, patient details are removed before anything is shared.

CME modules are produced by accredited providers, and the accreditation sits with them. The certificate comes from the accrediting body, not from Docintosh. You receive no honorarium for working through educational content: learning and paid work stay separate, deliberately.

A weekly timed quiz for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in India. Ten questions from your curriculum, the same set for everyone, ranked nationally, with no separate tracks for UG and PG. It runs all day Thursday, 00:00 to 23:59 IST, and it is free to enter.

MCQ contests, poster contests, essay contests, medical quizzes and the 60 seconds challenge. Winners receive badges and certificates. There are also two routes into working with us: Management Intern and Medical Student Ambassador, both open to students active on the platform.

No. We do not sell, rent or otherwise pass members' private information to third parties. Your contact details are never visible to other members. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in the privacy notice.

Yes. You can withdraw consent and ask for your account and data to be deleted at any time. The consent notice explains how, and what happens to work already submitted and anonymised. If something has gone wrong, the grievance officer is named on the grievance redressal page.
