Who we are.
Docintosh was founded in 2014 to give Indian clinicians a closed, verified place to exchange clinical knowledge. General platforms are public and unverified, which makes them unsuitable for discussing patients. We built the alternative.
Verification is the product. Doctors submit a Medical Registration Number, which we check against the relevant council register. Students register with their college and course. It is the slowest step in joining, and we will not shorten it. The network is worth being part of only because every member has been through it.
What members do here. Discuss cases and clinical practice with verified peers. Complete CME from accredited providers, where the accreditation and any certificate sit with the accrediting body, not with us. Take part in surveys, polls and case studies, for which they receive an honorarium — a payment for professional time, never for a particular opinion and never conditional on a clinical decision. Participation is voluntary throughout.
What we will not do. We do not sell member contact details. We do not advertise prescription medicines to members. We do not publish a figure we cannot support. Responses are anonymised and reported in aggregate, and no organisation commissioning work learns who answered.
